Pastors Need Self-Care Too
by Nate Larsen

It's important for elder boards, other committees in our churches, and the rest of us parishioners to be sensitive to our pastors’ needs to take care of their health. Pastors need to be reassured that we understand at least some of the stress they are under and that it’s safe for them to ask for help.

The Bookstore

We have FINISHED the Amazon.com powered website for Faith & Fellowship Publishing literature, studies and devotions. We are also including other books, music and church supplies that we hope will help you in your ministry. We hope to use our pastors, lay-leaders and Seminary to help us choose material that will enhance and strengthen the ministry within our congregations.

The Publishing

The Church of the Lutheran Brethren has a rich history. You will discover that when you browse through the list of Faith & Fellowship published books and Bible studies. We are in the process of editing and reprinting our identity brochures. Pastor Bruce Stumbo's Confirm It! curriculum is still one of our best sellers.
We are in the process of updating and redesigning THE ONLINE BOOKSTORE

NEW! Faith & Fellowship Blog!  www.ffblog.org

Picture
It's been a plan in the works for the past few months and I'm excited to announce that Faith & Fellowship has a blog! Let me explain what that means and how it will be used.

First of all, we have three pastors that already blog quite a bit on their own and they have agreed to contribute to this blog. We hope to get more pastors and church leaders involved in the future but we're going to start small and build up as we understand the purpose and mission of Faith & Fellowship Online.

Secondly, this blog will be used as a place to add news and information from around the Church of the Lutheran Brethren (CLB). Plus posting information on this blog is much more immediate and convenient than waiting to include it in the magazine. Following this blog will keep you updated on events, news and opinions all over the CLB. Updates will be retrieved from congregations, special events, and the CLB website's blog, as well. The idea is that the network of information from around the CLB will converge here on this blog. We hope that this blog will be the location where you can come and be directed to all kinds of information and news around the CLB.
